- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates - Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises - Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences - Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons - Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property - Answer alarms and investigate disturbances - Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas - Escort individuals to specified locations or provide personal protection Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Proven 5-10 years work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position - Loss prevention experience is preferred - Security Guard certificate/SORA Card is a must - Military or law enforcement background - Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is desirable - Excellent observation skills and attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to handle conflicts in a professional manner We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages.
